Effective pain assessment and treatment is essential in both primary care and opioid use disorder treatment settings. The speaker will share strategies to improve the identification and management of pain within the context of the opioid overdose epidemic.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Determine resources needed to address pain and related symptoms in underserved communities.

  3. Develop strategies to create a positive pain management environment for patients and professionals.
