Overview

This course introduces the essentials of digital communication, highlighting its importance and the appropriate use of various platforms. Participants will learn best practices for clear and effective online interactions, including techniques to ease digital communication anxieties and improve virtual meeting etiquette. The course also explores the trust-power matrix and its impact on digital dynamics, equipping learners with skills to choose the most effective communication methods for diverse contexts.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Define digital communication and its significance in modern interactions.
  2. Identify appropriate uses of various digital communication platforms.
  3. Apply best practices for effective digital communication, including etiquette in written and video formats.
  4. Recognize and manage common digital communication anxieties to improve clarity.
  5. Analyze the trust-power matrix and its impact on digital communication.
  6. Evaluate trust and power dynamics to enhance the effectiveness of digital interactions.
  7. Select the most suitable communication modality based on context and relationship dynamics.
