Overview

This course is intended to provide an environment where providers can practice and develop their point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) skills under the direct supervision of POCUS trained providers. This includes image acquisition, as well as image interpretation of all common medical areas of POCUS including cardiac, lung, abdomen, vascular and musculoskeletal.

This course is offered primarily to faculty members, preceptors, residents, and other trainees affiliated with the WSU College of Medicine's Internal Medicine Residency Program in Everett, WA.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate improved POCUS image acquisition skills.
  2. Demonstrate improved POCUS image interpretation skills.
