Community Connections Showcase 2026

Join fourth year medical students as we learn about the needs of under-resourced communities in Washington State. Medical students will present their community projects, illustrating the ways they performed a community needs assessment, engaged key community stakeholders, and creatively addressed the need.

This session is live in person and live on zoom.

1. Hypothesize a process by which to assess community need in a resource-limited setting.
2. Brainstorm approaches to engage key community members in both assessing and addressing community need.
3. Design a process for addressing the need in context of the resource-limited setting.
