Contingency Management (CM) is an evidence-based behavioral intervention that uses positive reinforcement to support people in achieving their goals. This webinar will provide a description of CM as it has been applied across Washington State to address stimulant use, followed by a discussion of implementation considerations unique to rural areas. The session will feature a person with lived experience participating in CM, highlighting the impact CM has had on his recovery journey.

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Define Contingency Management and how it can be used to address stimulant use.
  2. Describe CM implementation considerations as they apply to rural areas.
  3. Examine the impact of CM as shared by a person with lived experience.
